Reduce Stress Responses. Balance and Self-regulate.

Remember times when you felt calm, at peace, stable, and content?

How did your body feel?  What thoughts entered your mind?

Despite many traumatic events in our lives, sensations of relaxation are always accessible.

ALWAYS.

Polarity Therapy can help "get your calm back ! "

Polarity Therapy is profoundly relaxing and restorative, and supports the branches of the autonomic nervous system - sympathetic (stress response) and parasympathetic (rest and repose).

What is Polarity Therapy?

Picture

Developed by Dr. Randolph Stone (1890-1981), an osteopath, naturopath, and chiropractor, Polarity Therapy focuses on balancing the human energy field, with the ultimate goal of harmonizing the body, emotions and mind.

What Happens at a Session?

Picture

A Polarity Therapy session uses gentle touch to balance energy flow in the body. A typical session includes initial “talk time” to assess pertinent issues for the client and establish the session’s focus. The remaining time is spent on a massage table, and light hand holds are usually placed at the client’s shoulders, ankles, neck and feet.  Light rocking and deeper holds may be appropriate. No disrobing is necessary.

Who Can Benefit?

Picture

Polarity Therapy can assist individuals with conditions
such as:
stress eating, compulsive behaviors, addictions, anxiety, insomnia, hyper-vigilance,
post-traumatic stress responses, and post-surgery trauma.

Polarity Therapy acknowledges three principles – positive, negative, and neutral – and associated points on the body to help individuals achieve understanding, integration, and balance. A "wireless anatomy" comprises our energetic functionality along with our physical anatomy. Blockages and/or looping, such as compulsive behaviors, can indicate a disruption in our basic wiring.
